TERMS OF SERVICE

The site is operated by SANGAT LTD, a company registered in Mauritius under number C25228880, at Plaines des Gersigny, Central Flacq, Mauritius. In these terms “we”, “us” and “Until Disclosure” mean that company, and “you” means the person or organisation using the site.

Payments are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for every purchase. Paddle is the seller on the payment record, is responsible for collecting any applicable sales tax or VAT, and its own buyer terms apply to the payment itself alongside these terms.

Because Paddle is the seller of record and SANGAT LTD is the company behind the site, the name Until Disclosure will not appear on your payment records. A card payment shows on your statement as PADDLE.NET* SANGAT LTD; a payment made through PayPal shows under Paddle’s own name instead. Paddle’s receipt email and invoice likewise name SANGAT LTD as the business you bought from, and the footer of every page here carries the same name for that reason. If you see a charge in that form and do not recognise it, check it against your Until Disclosure receipt, or write to us, before disputing it with your bank.

A territory claim is a novelty listing on this website. It places a marker, your logo or a chosen species portrait, an optional line of text and an optional link on our interactive globe, and creates a page for that listing.

It is not, and does not purport to be, any of the following: ownership of land or real property; sovereignty, governance or jurisdiction over any place; a legal title, deed, licence, easement or interest of any kind; recognition by any government or authority; an investment, a security, or a financial instrument of any sort. No right you obtain here is enforceable against anyone in the real place named.

The alien species, factions, agencies and incident reports on this site are works of fiction presented for entertainment. Nothing on the site is a statement of fact about real events, organisations or people, and country names, borders and place names are used descriptively to identify a listing, with no political claim intended.

You need an account to claim a territory. Accounts are handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for everything done through it. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and if you claim on behalf of an organisation you confirm you may bind it to these terms.

Each territory can be held by one active claim at a time, decided on a first-completed basis. Starting a claim reserves the territory for a limited period so you can complete checkout; if payment is not completed in that window the reservation lapses and the territory returns to sale automatically. A reservation is not a purchase, and being first to reserve does not guarantee you the territory.

Prices are shown before purchase and may change at any time for territories not yet claimed. If a payment succeeds but the territory can no longer be given to you, we will refund it in full.

You choose the logo, text and link shown on your listing, and they are public. You keep ownership of what you upload, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, resize and display it on the site and in the ordinary promotion of the site, for as long as your listing is live.

You confirm that what you upload:

• is yours, or you have permission to use it;
• does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trade mark or other rights;
• is not unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexual, or abusive, and does not harass or impersonate anyone;
• does not link to malware, phishing, or content that would breach these rules.

We may remove or replace content that breaks these rules, and may suspend or end a listing that does. Where we remove a paid listing for a breach that is not your fault, we will refund it; where we remove it because you broke these rules, we may keep the amount paid.

Do not attempt to interfere with the site, bypass access controls, scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others, or use it to break the law. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe this is happening.

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. We intend to keep listings live for as long as the site operates, but we cannot promise the site will run for any particular length of time. If we shut the site down permanently we will give reasonable notice by email where we can.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you arising out of the site or a listing is limited to the amount you paid us for that listing, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business, or lost goodwill.

We may update these terms. The version published here applies from the date shown at the top of this page, and material changes affecting existing listings will be notified by email where we hold an address for you. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius, and the courts of Mauritius have jurisdiction. If you buy as a consumer, this does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
